Dramatically lit, carefully staged, and minimally styled – P.F. Chang’s photography was all about driving crave. Collaborating with a talented team of photographers and food stylists, I was responsible for the overall art direction for the brand’s photography. With dark backgrounds and plateware, the food and beverages stand out as the rightful hero.

P.F. Chang’s aimed to position itself as a destination for celebrations and special occasions, with unique food and beverage offerings complete with theatre-at-the-table elements. The brand was in need of new lifestyle photography that captured that celebratory feel while showcasing the restaurant’s ambience – all while feeling more organic and less staged. Partnering with a team of talented photographers, stylists, chefs, and my own internal creative team, I was responsible for the planning and overall art direction of the shoots, as well as the selection of props, wardrobe, and dozens of models.
